Because of the fact that Muji products are almost always shown directly on store’s shelf with just a tag or label sticker and even the ones that have a package are not hiding inside of an un-transparent box, the design concept of this packaging is trying to show the product as much as possible to the customer directly using clear plastic box, and at the same time fit in the overall designing theme of the brand Muji by using unpainted original cardboard. Due to the uniqueness of the designing style of Muji, the outcome of this packaging should be able to be harmonious with other goods on the shelfs of Muji store, and even in unexpected occasions where it is on the shelf of not-Muji stores, it should become the most noticeable among the others.
